Use it as if you are hollowing by hand, but get the support of a captured type system. Its simple, easy to set up design lets you move back and forth between tools easily. This tool allows for smooth operation and the ability to enjoy the hollowing process without fighting with the tool or jig. Why choose the Mini/Midi Stabilizer? Fits any mini/midi lathe. Easy to set up – mounts directly in the lathe banjo (where your tool rest goes). Compatible with any standard 5/8″, 1/2″ or 3/8″ Tool (with bushing when necessary) PLUS the Niclot Mini Hollowers (with adapter). Manufactured to the highest tolerances and uses 6 thrust bearings in the articulating joints. Every component is heavy-duty, built to last and manufactured in our Fort Collins, CO shop. Has a black oxide coating that adds durability and helps prevent corrosion (especially useful when turning green wood, or if you live in a humid environment).
